Transect 1st July

Cyril did this weeks Transect a record count of over 900 butterflies – mostly Meadow Browns but Silver-washed Fritillary and White Admiral too.

I walked round today and I have never seen so many Purple Hairstreak as many as 6 at a time. Loads of White Admirals and Small Skippers too.

Next Sunday is the Butterfly Walk at Grafton Wood 2:00pm at the Church Car Park. Tea and Cake afterwards – All Welcome.
